Investments for the future

Thinking about the future... 

* FINALLY bought Adobe Lightroom 3 

(instead of making up new email addresses and "trialing" it over and over again!) I'm so excited to have it show  up soon... guessing around the 18th of October- ie: Jess's Christmas!  (mom's birthday too, so I'll use it first to edit a couple pictures for her, sounds fair, right?)  

* Subscription to 'Professional Photographer' 

came in the mail yesterday!!  I sat and read the whole thing from cover to cover... that rarely happens!  This was a free subscription thru Clickin' Moms I believe... and speaking of them...

* Clickin' Mom's subscription- 

I had totally forgot that I was a member and need to start frequenting their postings!   

I am also in the process of "clearing out" a lot of my collective photography related items...  things I've received in the mail, printing options, different websites to look at for inspiration...  I feel like I need to start searching myself as to what kind of photography I'd like to pursue, what my style is and what venues I am planning to use.  All part of the plan!  

  

 

Fall--- a time for change!

Taking my dream to another level and starting a blog! 

My hope in doing this, 

is that I will be able to 

use this as my own 

personal canvas, 

sketch tablet and 

 jumping pad 

in my own 

creative 

journey. 

I plan to cover my continued growth in photography, the hobby that has given me a creative outlet and so many internal smiles over the past days, weeks, months and even years!   
I have also started playing around with crafts and other fun ideas to do with kids, so be on the lookout for that... not exactly 'photography' related, but does play into my creative outlet.. and I believe that the more creative you make your life, the more unique and brilliant your craft becomes. 
I hope to also share ideas, places and thoughts that may be off the beaten path... I love getting lost and finding those hidden treasures!  

 On a personal note, this starts a time of change and growth.  I hope to bring you, over the next couple of months, a better me- but not for you, for myself.  This place will be my positive outlet, something to keep my eyes on the prize so to say...  so here we go, on the journey of creativity and broadening horizons!
